Rules? Don't worry about rules. Follow your gut. "Rules" are based on others' experiences, and may not be the right thing at all.
I mean, technically, there's a guy rule that says its not cheating if its another area code. Do you really wanna follow rules like that?

Usually I'd say not to bother with someone like that. I don't know about any "rule". I am dealing with one of those, however, you write, you call, you don't hear back so you give up and then 6 weeks later he calls. I don't know what kind of stupid game that is about, but I have a little nagging voice saying to continue. So, the nagging voice wins out over logic...for now.

I'd say there is an unwritten rule. Don't write back to someone who's too rude to answer you twice. Wait until he writes you back or forget him. Unless your letters/emails didn't have questions in them. Then it really isn't that rude for him not to answer. But if they had questions and he still didn't answer, that's rude.

Thats something that I would do.I feel like such an idiot writing someone tons of things whenever they dont say anything to me,but I think to myself,maybe they accidently deleted my message.So after like,sending 3 or 4 messages without getting a resonse,I leave that person alone.But if that person means alot to you,try to talk it out with them in person.

No...but do you really want to continue with someone who can't or doesn't even have time to write you, just imagine what would happen if you two decide to date...he didn't show up because he just didn't want to..do you REALLY want that kind of relationship??? Just be grateful that he showed you his true colors now rather than later!!
