You bet they would. Jerry Falwell would organize a Christian pride day.

I do love you God. It is so good to see you always.

Please don't throw the baby out with the bath water and lump all people who claim to be Christians in the same group!! the Bible says that 'by their fruits you will know them' so if I am a true follower of Jesus Christ, then my behavior should be that of thankfulness that God has forgiven my sins and God doesn't rank a sin as one being worse than another...a sin is a sin and Christians should know this and also should know that when they mis-treat ANYONE, that is also a sin, just like murder or homosexuality, or telling a little white lie. God forgives them all when we ask and repent!! The ONLY unforgivable sin is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

They were persecuted way more than gays back in the first few years of Christianity. Remember the Coliseum and the Roman circus???. Hello.

Ugh...everyone is persecuted to some extent. Just about everyone whines about how they're discriminated against so no, it wouldn't makes anyone complain anymore. Most people don't need an excuse to play the victim anyway. They'll just make up a reason and whine until you really want to give them something valid to whine about.

If you're talking about the stereotyped "GodHatesFags" stance, then yes, I do believe Christians would consider themselves even more persecuted.

If you're talking about how most Christians really treat "gays," I think Christians would consider themselves less persecuted.

I am Christian and proud to say that I do NOT treat Gay people with anything but kindness. I have no reason to.

The last time I checked gays had the same civic rights as everyone else. So how are they persecuted?

That's a hard question because "Christians" who judge gays are sinning themselves. God is the only one who's worthy enough to judge any of us.

Would it be possible for them to claim to be "persecuted" even more than they currently do? I honestly don't think that's possible.

Things are already pretty bad for Christians. This country was founded on the beliefs of Christianity and yet you have wackos trying to take God out of America every chance they get. Its really sad. Sad for them.
