Wikipedia states that he's of Italian-American descent so it's unlikely he's Jewish, but I heard that a long time ago. Does anyone know what religion he follows? Just out of curiosity.

like most italians, he is a catholic. he would be the 2nd catholic president, after JFK, if he is elected in 08.

He is a Catholic that does not believe in Catholic doctrine. He just calls himself a Catholic but, people in the East get away with alot of stuff from their clergy all the time.

He was raised Catholic -- but as someone who has been divorced twice, he obviously is not a practicing Catholic.

I have met Italian Jews -- Franco Modigliani was one (1964 Nobel Prize in Economics).
