What Atheists basically are asking for to accept the existence of God and Gods are evidence, proof, factual analysis, etc. Sounds like secular humanism and rationalism to me

this question reminds me of a quote i heard once. i can't remember who said it but it goes something like this...

atheism is a religion the same way not gambling is a hobby.

This is probably going to be very confusing but i will try to explain it... People see it as a faith because Atheist do believe that there was no God and it really doesnt matter. That makes Atheism a faith because they do have a certain belief system, although it is not established... Does that make any sense???

Faith is belief with out evidence. Atheism is the lack of belief, and atheists always demand evidence. It doesn't fit the definition at all. It is the exact opposite of the definition.

uh, no. to be an atheist, the God idea is out whether or not you are presented with proof.

I guess some people call them a faith because they firmly believe there is/are no God/gods/goddesses/Godess.
