My homecare client says she feels lethargic all day, and wandered if she is taking too much vitamin D.

Anybody can take too much vitamin D. It's not one of the easily excreted water soluble vitamins, like vitamin C.

Yes! The RDA is usually between 200-400 IU, and sometimes 1000 IU . Between 1,800 to 20,000 or more can cause serious toxicity!

NO AN ELDERLY PERSON CAN NOT MAKE TO MUCH VITAMIN D. IN FACT AS YOU GET OLDER YOUR BODY SLOWS DOWN THE VITAMIN D MAKING PROCESS.
