I am 96 days late with my period. I have taken 4 tests and all have been negative. I have no signs of pregnancy except the missed period and my stomach seems to be getting bigger in the middle. I am really starting to think I am crazy. Any personal stories would be great.

I am 25. No spotting at all. I am eating right and not stressed out. I have a doctors appointment in April but I am going mad in the meantime.

How old are you? Have you had any other bleeding or spotting? Any pain? What tests are you taking? You need to see an OB-GYN MD. And no, you are not crazy..you are concerned.

Have you taken any large-dose contraceptives lately? e.g. implants, depo-provera injection. Those hormones can screw you up.
I have missed a couple of periods in a row due to switching from contraceptive to contraceptive.
Have you lost a lot of weight? Are you under a lot of stress? Those can cause strange hormonal fluctuations, too.
Finally, the stomach thing is probably just your imagination, or a form of the condition "hysterical pregnancy", where you are so convinced by the 96 days without a period that your stomach actually swells psychosomatically.
Is it possible that you could be pregnant, though? You should go to the doctor and check, just to put your mind at rest.

Bloating can be caused by excessive gassiness, constipation, lactose intolerance, drinking too much milk (overload of calcium), supplementing your diet with iron tablets that perhaps don't agree with you??
In the meantime try getting some organic apple cider vinegar and putting two tablespoons full into a glass with a teaspoon of baking soda and stir until fizzing stops. Add cold water and drink. This should settle your stomach and make you a lot more comfortable.
Bloating and missing your period like this may also be due to the fact that you don't weigh enough for your height??
PEACE

sometimes you just get your period late. Though I know how you feel, like the last time that happened to me I started thinking I had cravings and started eating some bizarre concoctions. give it alittle more time sometimes your body misses a period for no reason, though if you don't get it soon I would suggest going to a doctor.

Um, no personal stories, could it be a phantom? Do you know someone else who is pregnant or wanting to be? If you do it could be sympathetic. I would get a blood test, because the home kits CAN be wrong, and you dont want surprises popping up a few months down the track!

no but if you keep on worrying like that you may drive yourself that way just relax and wait until your appointment because if the test just keep coming up neg maybe your not far enough along or there something else going on which sounds like there something else going on.
