If people start magically disappearing off the street and out of their cars, I'm not really going to care if we have a leader or not.

If you remain after the rapture, and you only worry is how a country will be run, you are beyond naive. There will be no organized law, no single country will continue to exist in any semblance of his present state.

It all adds up to make conditions optimal for the anti-christ to take power. If the leaders of many countries simply disappear, the remaining people will accept the guidance of a world leader who claims to have all the answers.
Good question, but its all a part of God's plan.

I've often wondered about the soon-to-float-naked-to-heaven crowd.
They scare the bejeebus out of me.
Don't they think the end of the world is a GOOD thing, and aren't they keen to hasten it?
Besides, aren't people who don't think this world is going to last much longer short-sighted to the max?
Most people want a their grandchildren and great-grandchildren to have good lives -- those folks don't think it's ever gonna happen.

Well since most mainline Christian religions don;t believe in the rapture you are talking about they don;t see anyone at risk.
