While I am dying to give this a smart aleck answer, the long and short of it is that a human being can live for a VERY short time without a brain, if they are born that way. The condition is called anencephaly. More than 50% of anencephalic babies die during birth. Those who survive the birth trauma generally die within hours or a few days of birth. So far, nobody has survived being born without a brain by more than a week or two.
The human being requires a brain in order for all of our basic bodily functions to perform. Our hearts, our breathing, our kidneys, livers, digestion, evacuation, all of our bodily systems are operated by our brain. Without a brain to perform these basic functions, we die. Period.

you can live without certain parts of your brain. Ad one little boy did. But you cannot live without an entire brain reason being. Your brain is the central functioning system for your entire body, your legs and arms move by sending signals to your brain, you breath because your brain, you eat, sleep, basically everything you do is because of your brain. without one but you'd have to have a machine who did the breathing for you, you'd be hooked up with monitors in a hospital bed and not be able to speak or move but that also wouldn't really be living now would it. Even those people have some brain activity even though very minor.

The answer depends on one little letter. If you meant "..without brain", then yes. If you meant "....without A brain" then no.
As said earlier, anencephalic babies will not survive. And the trauma of removing an entire brain would kill a person minus the brain removal, so no luck there.
However, there are many instances of pieces of brain being removed or otherwise disabled and people functioning perfectly fine or with minor deficits. The most dramatic examples of this are children who have half their brain removed for certain neurologic disorders. While not performed as often as it was in the past, it was a viable treatmet option for a while. Hemispherectomy is a treatment option for people who have seizures coming from just one side of the brain that are so severe that they outweigh the benefits of even having that half of the brain. However, this only works in young children. At young ages, the brain is still developing and constantly rewiring itself. Because of this, the brain can relearn functions specific to the removed half of the brain and essentially live normally functioning lives. This has it's own set of complications, but they are far outweighed by the seizures.

::LOL!:: No- but I've noticed a few who sure act like they don't have one!
In all seriousness, the brain and nervous system do control a lot of very important functions of the body. For instance, your heart beats when it gets a little jolt from the brain. And the muscles that control your breathing are also controlled by impulses from your brain.
