I remember watching something on TV and the guy said not to touch something? I don't think this will ever happen to me but I'm just wondering...

I meant if your in your car when it happens. Like if someone was to run into an electric poll? What would they do?

If your car was moving, it probably cleared the wire already and you don't have to worry about it anymore.

If it was standing, and the wire is still touching it, you can do whatever you want except for one thing - do not touch the ground. If you do - you complete the circuit and get fried in milliseconds. Again, it is absolutely safe to do whatever you want as long as you do not touch the car and ground simultaneously.

I was just sit still and wait for help to come or escape if I can without touching the wires. Otherwise touch nothing metal.

Don't touch any part of the car. If you have a cell phone then call for help, otherwise just wait for help to arrive and don't panic, remain calm.

If you are in the car when it happens, try not to touch anything metal, like ignition switch..

you don't need to ever go near it if that was to happen, like you said it probably wont ever happen, but if it does never touch it,or it would probably kill you in less than a minute, good luck.
