I always wondered bout this too - but always weigh ur self first thing in the morning after u have gone to the bathroom and released everything from ur body - and make sure u havent eaten yet;
but at the same time - body weight fluctuates daily - sometimes big differences which might cause discouragement; especially if ur dieting or so.
Honestly tho i do it every morning haha - good luck.

Since water weight greatly effect's one's number on the scale, the best is to not weigh more than 1-2 times per week. That way, you can get the trend versus a jumping number.

I was weighing myself everyday but yesterday I decided to put my scales under the bed so now I'm going to weigh once a week as I know your weight can fluctuate because of water retention etc.

I don't own a scale. I don't bother with the scale at the gym. I only get weighed when I go to the doctor. I don't focus on the weight as much as I do on how I look and how my clothes fit.

I never weigh myself, but then I really don't have a need to. I have a very fast metabolism and am very lean. As I work out and am addicted to aerobics and weight training I tend to burn anything extra I eat off very quickly, which really annoys my husband as he has a slow metabolism.

I weigh myself twice and month and I do my measurements then too. That way I can see how I am doing in all areas of my body.

Once every few months. i dont have scales in my house!! It gets to depressing!!! I would rather not obsess about something so trivial.

I try to limit to once a week. so as not to get too obsessed with it! It gives you a good balanced general trend, up. down. or stable.
