3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30, SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.
A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE 3 GUYS' ROOM WITH $5.
ON THE WAY, THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF.
THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

they each paid 10$ so thats 30$ now they have to pay only 25 because of the error so that's 25$ so let us say that each of them paid 8$ so that's only 24$ add what the bellboy took thats 26$ add the three dollars they got that's 29$, finally add the dollar we removed earlier, so that's a total of 30$
It means that they did not pay 9$ each... one paid 9$ the other two paid 8$ but 1$ was stolen from them by the bellboy... so that's 9+8+8+1+1=27+1$ each = 30$...

From those 27 dollars which the 3 men paid you dont have to add the 2$ which the bellboy kept. When you subtract it you get 25$. Thi means that there was no missing dollar.
Because the man gave back 5 dollars. From that money the bellboy took 2$ & gave 3dollars to the three men. The total is 5$. Thus, there was no missing dollar.

You don't add the 2 dollars to 27, you subtract it = 25 dollars for room. 27 dollars is for room and bellboy.
