I'm on a really strict diet - I eat a total of 400-600 calories a day - 6g of fat and 8-10g of sugar from (milk, bread, cheese) and exercise a lot and burn double or more what i ate - but I go to the bathroom to do number 1 a few times a day due to drinking lots of water , but never number 2!
I eat 100% Fiber cereal in the morning with lactose free milk
then 2 wholewheat slices of bread and slice of cheese and veggies for lunch
and a salad of Tomatoe Onions and Parsley for dinner no dressing. (im vegetarian also)
i drink green tea between meals - 2 times a day with a cheddar rice cake (40 calories no fat no sugar but some salt)
and then 1 cup sometime at night - maybe eat celery if im really hungry

Your body doesn't have enough food to function properly. If you consume less than 1250 calories (5,000 kilojoules) per day your body will not be able to function sufficiently at its most basic level.

Where are you including iron in your diet?? Essential to prevent fatigue, anaemia, lowered immunity and uneven skin tone.

How about the B complex of vitamins?? This is probably what is causing your constipation. You need to also eat wholegrains, legumes (peas beans and lentils), bran and green leafy vegies. Try supplementing your diet with 3 tablespoons of bran daily and make sure your water intake is at least 8 - 10 glasses per day.

You should eat at least 1200 calories a day and eat more salad greens. Also eat more fruit. You are not getting nearly enough calories and you will make yourself sick if you keep this up. I have known of people ending up in the hospital with dehydration from eating the way you are.

You need to eat between 1200-1800 calories a day you are starving yourself so you have nothing to in your intestines by the time your body grabs up everything it needs. Eat more greens such as broccoli and spinach. Hope this helps.

Even though the bran cereal has fiber in it that can't be digested and used as energy.. there is just plain nothing that can go through and be number 2.

(Not that this is an answer to your question, but just wnted to make sure you knew that your brain can only function on glucose--food you ate recently)

You are starving your body thats why. You should be eating double or three times the calories you are eating. You are doing your body more harm than good.

You need at least three times as many calories. You're on a starvation diet. When you're in starvation mode your metabolism slows down. Slow metabolism = no elimination/constipation
