Hair removal is never a bad idea if it makes you feel more confident or less self conscious. Shaving however, may leave your arm hair more stubblier than before. Waxing (there are home kits) is the cheapest way to go. Waxing pulls the hair out by the root causing it to grow back generally softer than before. In some cases you make actually notice your hair growing back slower and less dense. Laser hair removal if you can afford it tends to offer great results and is usually fairly permanent.

NO, don't ever shave your arms. The hair will grow back in worse than it is now. Use a hair removal cream like LIquid Laser and leave it on long enough to work - do a patch test before you wipe it off to see if it's removing all the hair. Good luck !

It is definitely, without a doubt, not a good idea. Your mother is smarter than you, and knows what is best for you. It is natural to have hair on your arms. Would you shave your eyebrows/cut off your eyelashes? Listen to your mom; don't shave your arms! Do it, and one day you will regret it.

don't shave them. If u want to remove the hair all u have to do is go to a salon and have the hair lasered off. It sounds painful, but they put numbing cream on before they do it. After it's done, all u have to do is come back every 5 or so years.

I think you should!! That's kinda gross. Wait, is it your underarms or just your normal arms. If it's your underarms u should shave now!! It depends on if you always short sleeve shirts or tank tops/wife beaters. Because if you do then you should shave soon. If your mom sees the hair maybe she will let you shave it. She should, just keep bugging her...lol

You could use clippers. That way, you aren't stimulating thicker hair growth or stubble. Use a guard so it's not super short. It'll just make it look like your hair doesn't grow so long. You'll have to do it every 6 weeks or so, but it's not a big pain. Good luck!

No definately not... Every time you shave something it is just going to get worse and even more thick and darker. You will be stuck with doing this forever trust me. The best suggestion i could give you is to wax them instead, that way they will get less and less noticeable. I hope this helps

the problem with shaving your arms is that it will come back thicker and darker. So if you decided to shave them, you might be stuck with doing that forever.

i would not shave, arm stubble is worse than hairy arms. if you must, i would go for a hair removal spray or waxing.
