Sometimes soap can irritate cuts and make them swell and itch. There is a nasty infection spreading in Canada and the US that is resistant to antibiotics and can lead to flesh eating disease. Watch it close! signs of blood poisoning are fever and chills, vomiting, the runs, headache and dizziness. Just a little raised and itchy doesn't sound too serious.

Probably not. Unless it is really red around it as well as on it.. Pus is a good indication of infection! Cuts tend to raise up, don't know why but it happens to me all the time as well as the itching.. the itching is more then likely just it healing. Keep some neosporan(sp) or anti bacterial cream/spray and a bandage on it. Unless it is really deep or starts to pus and becomes red not only on it but around it, you should be ok.

Sounds like it. Wash thoroughly with soap and water, put on some triple antibiotic cream and a bandaid. It will get better.
