do you have an idiom, when someone asks you a question or in a game and you don't know the answer so "you give up because you have no idea"

"I give" is commonly used, or "I give up" - doing so implies that you have no idea, so you don't need to state it. You only give up when you do not know the answer.

"Pass" is typically used if you are answering several things and you would be skipping over the current question to answer the next one on the list, or if another person would be getting the opportunity to answer the question after you failed to answer correctly.

In quizzes, we say "Pass"- implying to pass that question to the next participant.

Admit defeat, as in - "I give up--what's the right answer?"

Surrender, as in - "The suspect gave himself up".

That often is how we say it... that is, "I have no idea! I give in/up."
