Waaaaaay back when, in times of Windows 3.11, I had a job at an internet helpdesk. We once had a stand at a fair, and handed out floppy's with internet software. Next day someone calls "I got this thingy from you yesterday, it says internet software and has your phone number on it... do I need a computer to use this?"

True story... until that day I always thought those stupid support questions were just made up... now I guess the rest that make the rounds online might just be true too....

While my two story house was burning to the ground in a raging fire, I took a quick trip to the local WalMart to purchase a collar for my large dog that survived the ordeal, as well. They had only one collar in her size - wow, but there was the one, so I brought it to the counter. Turns out it didn't have a proper scan price tag on it so the checker immediately got mad and asked if I was needing to buy it (duh). When I calmly responded, "Yes," she immediately went into a full-fledged temper tantrum. So I didn't say anything - or budge! until the collar was mine...and she thought SHE was having a bad day.

Wait, in the tradition of etiquette, I defend this one. Hot and Cold washes is an interesting mystery and a topic for conversation. Maybe he was hoping the conversation would go somewhere.

The Hitler comment may not have been the dumbest but, it sure would count as the rudest.

I've always said there is no such thing as a dumb question. But it seems I've been blessed with never having met the guys you have.

You should not judge a person for such question. Some people are EXTREMELY smart and spend their time doing other things.

I often ask questions that may come across as common sense but that is just because to the un-common brain, they just can't take anything on face value. Everything must be complex and nothing is to be simple.

So you know what people say: "He must be REALLY smart or REALLY stupid. Talk to him about something intellectual and see if he knows anything.

My friend once asked me what day I was having my New Year's Eve party.

Earlier that week I was talking about a horse I saw, and when I mentioned its tail, he looked at me with astonishment and said, "HORSES HAVE TAILS?!" He was 17 at the time. Bless his soul. Haha.

I recently dated a girl who always talked about how dumb some people are, what they said and what they asked. Im not sure if she herself is dumb but I'm pretty sure that she's the dumbest girl I have ever dated.
