nope. in islam forgiveness is essential. as long as the most sinful person is willing to repent and swear not to do it again, he is forgiven by our God.

It's not just murderers doing it, it is many violent offenders. Because Islam is a religion, prisoners can legally change their name to something totally different. When they come up for parole, few victims show up to protest at the hearing because they received notification about someone who's name they do not recognize - John Smith suddenly becomes Abdu Salmil Hussain, and the origional name is not listed anywhere. Many victims do not receive any notification because of the confusion. And with no victims at a parole hearing, chances are the offender will be released.

Nearly all of the prison converts are Black. It is more of a racial and "belonging" thing than for religious reasons; or all races would be converting in prison.

good question. because, christians show them the way to the darknes and Islam bring them back to the light. God is forginess so, who the hell are you to judge them that they will going to hell?
Christians believe that their God or jesus died because of his people sin so there is no judgement day. so why you still belive that hell exist?

I guess they want to turn away from the evil christian influences that caused them to be murders in the first place.
Or maybe they just felt that if the christian god was useless in helping them overcome their evil impulses they would seek a god that had some power.
Or maybe they just got tired of sanctimonious pricks.
