Jeff Gordon is having a spectacular start to the season! He's running strong and probably will be the points leader come Bristol.. (or shortly after!) But right now, The BEST NASCAR DRIVER I think would have to goto Mark Martin, hands down! He's the current points leader. How could you not give him that title @ this point in the season?

tony stewart is the best all around race car driver going today he can win in any car, truck, modified, dirt and cart. i dont like jeff gordon as a person but in past years felt he was the best all around stock car guy,as of late i have to look at kimmy johnson and matt kenseth or some of the other guys maybe.or maybe jeff gordon will find his way back to the top..but for all around racing tony at least has to be noted even if you dont agree, yes i know he has had some temper problems but has grown alot over the years as have a few others..and should be seen for now not then..

i'll continuously be a Jeremy Mayfield fan by way of fact he's a organic race vehicle motive force. i won't be in a position to stay with motive force which incorporate Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Jr, or Kasey kahne by way of fact they do no longer look to be good with their followers. i take advantage of to love jr, til I examine his e book. he says he would not like assembly followers by way of fact "they are purely those that like me for my daddy." i like Denny Hamlin too. I met him in 2005 at Daytona decrease back while he became an entire time Busch motive force. Jeremy ,nevertheless, became the coolest motive force I had ever met. He took time to learn my call, refer to me and cope with me like i became the only one that needed his autograph. That became in 1997. He hasn't replaced sence. while you're a clean NASCAR fan, do no longer carry on with the extensive-unfold drivers. beneficial, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon are good. Tony Stewart could win in something, and Dale Jr is....properly, Jr is over rated. decide for a reall motive force. Scott Riggs, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte, Jeremy Mayfield, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Elliott Sadler, or Dave Blaney. Drivers that race for his or her followers, no longer their sponsors.

A little early to tell, but If I had to place a bet it would be on Jeff Gordon. Jr. is digging a pretty deep hole fast, I doubt he will make the chase and Martin is only part time.

matt kenseth look what hes already done hes 5th in points and thats after being docked 50 points before the season started hes already been to victory lane and all this without reiser his crew cheif look for matt to get even stronger when reiser returns at bristol i know this is not going to be a popular pick but after looking at what hes already done so far its a safe bet that the #17 will be in the championship hunt come time for the chase
