AC has a nasty habit of stirring up dirt and germs in the air and spreading them around. If it is just allergy sick, I would suggest taking something like Claratin or Alavert. If it is a bacterial infection like bronchitis, your best bet would unfortunately be to wear a dust mask.
Or you could file a complaint with your company for creating an environment that makes you ill.

So how is the AC affecting the people you work with. Do you all feel the same. Is it because it's too cold or does it give your respiratory problems. I'd talk to my supervisor. Say you don't want to be acting like a whiner, but tell his/her about your symptoms and ask if anything can be done. If you are in a large organization, ask the supervisor about the maintenance of the filters and chillers and see if they can be checked or if someone can do a health and safety inspection of the HVAC system. If there's any puddles of water standing around any area that you can see or if tiles that look like they are moldy, that needs to be remedies right away for everyone's sake. If you can't take the chill from the AC, I don't know what to say except wear layers. I know this is not fun.

You suffer from allergies. AC can make it worse. Visit allergy specialist. They can test you for what allergens your body is most susceptible to and guide you in the right direction. Air Con brings in the air from outside and cools it. However, ac does not always filter the air thats coming from outside. See an allergy specialist.

Tell your employer. Suggest cleaning the filters and ducts: Mold and mildew do have a bad way of growing in such places. And if your employer brushes you off, talk to your local health department.
Meanwhile, if it's just constant cold that's making you sick, try wearing a sweater or jacket.
Good luck!

Get another job and before you take the job ask about how the temperature is there.........but first before you go to that extreme why don't you go to a supervisor and see if they can make a compromise about the air conditioner's settings so most of you can be happy there.

I know what you mean. Cold air is dry and gets your throat irritated. The only thing I can think of is maybe talk to your boss to do something about it or wear a jacket or a sweater.
Good Luck!

Sometimes the air con in my office gets too cold, so lots of the girls wear or bring their own pashminas (wraps) and the guys have a jacket or sweater nearby just in case.

Suggest the filters are cleaned. They should be cleaned every 4 weeks. I personally would get out of there, air-conditioning is not healthy at all.

How is it making you sick? Dry sore throat? Try a humidifier in your office. Tell your boss or see if anyone else in the building is feeling sick as well.
