Jesus is in the Qur'an as one of the greatest prophets of all time. But he isn't the son of God.

Reject his divinity and you have Islam.

The way you word the question, it is possible. If you had said, "Is it possible to follow both Jesus and Islam at the same time?" then my answer would be no. You can believe in Jesus and Islam existing because Jesus and Islam are both actual things--Jesus was an actual, real guy, and Islam is an actual, real religion. I applaud you for being willing to learn about something before you form an opinion, unlike many, MANY other who just bash without thinking. Methinks there should be more thinkers like you. I hope this helps!

You can't believe in Jesus and Islam at the same time. Be on one side of the fence or the other.
The Scriptures are clear about believing in Jesus and believing in God, that when you see Jesus you see the Father. If you read in the book of John Jesus repeats this over and over. The Islam people believe in a different God then we do. They think Jesus was just a nice guy. God will not be happy about your leaning that way, but he gives you a free choice doesn't He?

I believe in the goodness of good people that practice what they believe but I would never compare my religion to try to make it similar to another religion.

I know it would be an insult to not believe in Jesus the Christ that died for us and is our only salvation.

It is ONLY through Jesus; "the way the truth and the life" that we can get to heaven.

Can I study Islam and still worship Jesus? Yes.
History and the people that are Islamic are a fact. But don't get side tracked because their in no other living God and you can't have two God's or two philosophies.

There is only one Savior named, Jesus. Peace, love and forgiveness are the Amen to Jesus and the way he taught us to live.

See if you can pray and read a modern bible like; the Way or the New American bible and see what the Holy Spirit enlightens you with.

We really fail if we water down Christianity. Failure comes from not really knowing the Christ Jesus. Blessings, hw

I'm a Christian too and I made that same mistake. On the surface Christianity and Islam seem to have the same beliefs but in order to become a Muslim you would have to deny that Jesus is the Son of God. Don't do it mate. A great book to read is Jesus and Muhammad by Mark A Gabriel. It shows you the similarities and the differences between Christianity and Islam, Jesus and Muhammad. I would also suggest that you talk to your Pastor or somebody in leadership at your church.

Yes , its possible for you to believe in jesus and islam at the same time. Jesus was one of the greatest prophets of islam but not the son of god. Infact, one cannot be a muslim if he/she doesn't beleive this. Do not rely on scriptures which have been tampered dozens of times for the benefit of one section of people or the other and no one can deny this fact. And anyone replying to this post, please go through the facts & think.

there's nothing wrong about learning about other religion. im a muslim, and i believe in jesus, without question, that he is a prophet (can you consider it?). if you believe in jesus, learning about islam doesnt make your belief clashed with each other. but you must understand how we muslims look at jesus, a lot different than how you christians look at him..
but you are most welcome to learn about islam. no forcing on believing it~ (^_^)

NO...Your own statement makes it clear that you are not of The True Christian Faith... All of The Faith know The Truth of Christ and are part of The Body of The Chruch of which Jesus The Christ is The Head.... NO ONE of The Chruch would ever "convert" to any other faith... most espacialy one which vows to kill all Christians...

I have read the Quaran... muslims claim the quaran is from allah... there is only one quaran... there is only one islam... the quaran is islam and islam is the quaran... the quaran clearly states that all who do not submit to the law of the quaran and islam are to be killed...what dose that make any follower of islam...in relation to all others on this planet... can you say... ENEMY?

Its possible to believe in them both sure, but you will not have your heart in one of them completely. Don''t take this the wrong way, but i think you need to talk to someone about this personally, because this is quite a strange question, coming from a Christian perspective, it sounds like you never reli learn the fundamentals?

Well, it depends what you mean by believe in Jesus. Muslims acknowledge Jesus's existance but merely accept him as a prophet and believe he spoke a similar message to the Quran's. They do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God or that he died or was resurrected.
