Hi

I am trying to make a talkbox for my guitar and one idea im trying is putting my amp's speaker in a sound proof box to channel the sound through a tube. the problem is im trying to do this as cheap as possible so i don't want to spend to much on sound proofing material. does anyone know of any good substitutes for sound proofing material or have and idea how to make a good material.

Thanks

try Dynamat. It is designed for car audio but sounds like it'd work for you. You didn't specify a budget but it is relatively inexpensive.
