i wait 24 hours under normal conditions, if it cold out side , maybe a week
dont forget to give it about four coats, i pour it over the floor
and use a paint brush to make it smooth,
the more coats the better , and thin coats work better than one big one , each time you use the brush store it back in the can ,so you dont need to re wash it again

You didn't need to put a poly clear coat on top of paint... Paint comes in several different sheens... from flat to high-gloss... Also... some oil-based clear coats tend to yellow after so long.

you don't apply polyurithaine to painted wood it is aply to stained wood, prime the wood first than apply a good quality interior or exterior paint about 2to 3 coats
