How many Americans live and work in the UK? I read somewhere on the intnet that 20,000 live in Scotland?

I was wondering how many Americans live and work in the UK? I read on the internet I think it was Visit Scotland website that 20,000 Americans live and work in Scotland mostly in Aberdeen in the North Sea Oil industry and Edinburgh and Glasgow. But I was wondering about England and Wales does anyone know how many Yanks are living and working in England and Wales?

There's probably a statistic somewhere. You could probably do a search on the internet and find it. You can find everything else these days.
