There have been a large group of vicious dogs running loose in our hood and everybody's scared to walk out to their cars and even to take out the trash! we've had animal control come out but the little Fers keep getting away from them and comin back to terrorize us, well my next door neighbor set out a bowl of antifreeze to kill them! I saw him and heard him talking to his wife while he was doing it..Should i squeal or mind my own bees wax?

That is so wrong on so many levels. First of all, no matter how unruly the dogs are, it's very cruel to poison them. When it comes down to it, it all boils down to irresponsible dog owners. Also, setting out a pan of antifreeze endangers all animals, not just the pack of dogs running loose. Another point is, it seems like the animal control people are not doing their job. If these dogs are this dangerous, they should stay on the situation until the dogs are caught. I say turn in the neighbor, this will shed more light on the situation, and hopefully get the authorities to wake up and do their job. It sounds like you are the one person willing to do the right thing and make a difference.

I agree with everyone here, do what you gotta do to stop the doggies from getting hurt (squeal, take it away, feed it to your neighbor, whatever you gotta do; you'll figure it out)

Next you still need to solve your problem with the loose dogs. Animal control is just made up of government employees with too much work, too little pay, and too little appreciation. Next time they come out, try to befriend them and ask for their help and attention, otherwise you are just another one of their million and one difficult problems to solve.

By the way, I think dogs are probably not going to drink antifreeze, right?

if you want the terrorizing dogs to go away, to a different LOVING home, then by all means, SQUEAL LIKE A PIG!!!!! u are letting an animal abuser kill some animals that dont really mean any harm to you. if you do anything to provoke them, then you shouldnt have anything to worry about. call animal control and let them know what you saw ur neighbor doing and let them handle it from there. you shouldnt worry about what happens as long as the dogs get to loving families, thats all you have to mind about.

Go get the bowl and call the police for animal cruelty. That is not right I don't care what type of animals they are they do not deserve to be poisoned. Just like other people have said someone elses animals could be outside and drink it too. Call the police and get the bowl. Dont tell your neighbor he doesnt need to know.

WTF!! I would have already removed the bowl called the police and confronted them about their cruelty... That is sick and twisted... to poison animals it is an indiscriminate and inhumane method of killing any living being. Those dogs may be terrorizing people but we are supposed to be the smarter species.. I already would have taken care of it myself by squealing like a MF to every newspaper and politician in town until they dealt with the dogs in a humane and appropriate manner. If I were you I would go take that bowl of poison away and write to the media about the problem to get things done the right way, I would also suggest that to the people with the poison and say that they have a choice... either you write about the poisoning incident to the paper and embarass the crap out of them and make them look bad or they join forces with you and start a campaign to get something done with media petitions and letters to local law enforcement and government.

I would talk to the neighbor because if anyones pet gets loose and drinks it.....they die too. There is a better way to take care of the problem. Call the police and tell them people are not safe with the wild dogs running the neighborhood.

I would make a phone call but don't give them your name and if questioned by your neighbor act like you don't know what is going on. That way your saving the dogs and anyone Else's animals that might be out in the neighborhood without causing problems for you.

I would report him to animal control and the police. What he's doing is animal abuse, and it needs to be stopped immediately. When you call to report him, tell them you don't want the abuser to find out, it was you that reported him. There may be other dogs and animals also, that can be harmed by the antifreeze.

listen if you allow him to put antifreeze out you are just as responsible as him,i think.don't get me wrong wild dogs can be harmful and animal control should've set traps for them this is their responsibility.bring that to someones attention at animal control or humane society.you can call them anonymously if you'd like, but their is a humane way of taking care of wild dogs. After all they are only wild cuz people don't take responsibility for spaying and neutering.killing them with antifreeze is cruelty
