I just got asked out by the man of my DREAMS but I have just gone through a really rough time in my life involving a nasty and complicated relationship and the death of a friend. I really want to say yes but I don't think it would be a good idea at the moment considering the above circumstances. What should I tell him?

Tell him exactly that. However, get his number and keep in contact with him until you are ready. If he really cares about you and thinks you are worth it, he will wait for you. I wouldn't take too long to do it though. He might not wait forever.

If this guy is a really nice guy what is the harm? You're not planning to get married right away are you? Just remember, the really nice guys don't stay unattached very long. Just go out with him as a friend. If he is compassionate to people he would probably be a good friend to have for you right now. The best relationships I have ever found are with women that started out as a friend. You get to know a lot about them because there are no hangups about a physical relationship at the very beginning. You can never have too many close friends anyway. Just let him know up front that you take things very slow. If he is as sweet as you say he is he will let you set the pace.

I met invoice Clinton. he's rather effective and has a great deal of air of secret. Very friendly. He replaced into doing a rally for the Democrats close by the place I stay while Arkansas replaced into electing a sparkling Governor. He signed a shirt for me.

I regret to this day turning down the sweetest guy I ever knew. Go for it! Life is too short for regrets.

well, you got 2 options. either 1) tell him what you just told us (and risk losing the chance to get with him ever again) or 2) go on the date with him just to see if y'all click and how y'all work out. i dont think hes asking for commitment, just to "hang out"
