Low fat means less fat. Not fat free. The best diet is a low fat/high protein one as it will give you healthy balanced meals. Faddy diets do not work. Just go for a healthy eating routine. And forget alcohol.

Snapdrag has a valid point. In addition, once the body gets its requirement of a caloric nutrient, then any extra becomes empty calories. With regard to fats, you should eat enough to provide your omega 3's and omega 6's as well as to aid absorption of your fat soluble nutrients. If your body needs fats for energy, then let your body tap into its fat stores to provide for that energy need. This is the only way outside of liposuction to lose fat. Low fat is low fat, whether good or bad. Please remember that fat though, is vital for your body. I would not recommend a low fat diet under any circumstances.
