I made the mistake of making a bet with my best friend that if he dumped his gf i would do the same to my bf..... i thought he would never ever dump her. The next day he did! Heres the prob i really lik the guy im goin out w/ and dont want to dump him but a bets a bet.......

look, this is really silly to even put your relationship with your bf on the line like that...I am so sorry to say, but you screwed up big times. Now he wanted an excuse to get rid of his girl and blame it on someone, he did, now you suppose to drop your bf...if you like him, screw your friend and hold on to your bf...how would you feel if you knew he had a bet going on dumping you????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I BET you will be crying and screaming too...that is not how you should treat your bf..if your friend wants to treat his gf like that I would say that is his choice...so what if you lost the bet??? and he called you whatever names.... ?? no grounds...

Well, if you and your friend have been friends for a while, I think it would be wrong to break this bet, but if you really like your boyfriend, he may be first in your life. I think it's not your fault that your friend can't keep a girlfriend and so you should not have gotten into the middle if it. If you really care about this guy just tell him about the bet and if he cares about you like you think that he does, I do not think that he will care about a silly bet. My opinion is that your friend needs to find a girl that he really likes. Just do not worry about your friend and just be focused about your own life with your new boyfriend. Be honest and tell him it was a silly bet you had no intention of keeping up and didn't expect him to follow through with, either. If he gives you grief, say, "If she was right for you, you wouldn't have made that bet, much less followed through with it in the first place."

If i remember correctly "bet" is just a word and a bf is a real live human being with feelings and all.
Have some respect for people not words that are only hot air into the atmosphere...
forget the bet and get real.
