Along with last week's episode about the "n-word," I'd have to say that season 11 of South Park is off to a great start. I actually watched this one with my mom, of all people! I think she's becoming a South Park fan too, especially after episodes like this that deal with issues such as homosexuality and the church.
To Bill Mac: I don't know where you get your propaganda from, but Christians *do* have camps for "praying the gay away." And why else do you think that Cartman's picture was controversial? It involved a penis in his mouth, which is still inappropriate for the young students to view, regardless of Cartman's gender.
But, anyway, I really liked tonight's episode. Butters played the cute, innocent role as well as ever. :3

Yet another brilliant episode of South Park - which manages somehow to be one of the smartest shows on television, despite being utterly and hilariously /stupid/ a great deal of the time.
Such camps exist, and it's frightening - and South Park is right to think that they're a bad idea. I agree with them. If God made them that way, is it really that bad of an idea? It's scary how they drive kids to hate themselves because of something they can't control.
Last weeks episode was great too.

Fantastic, as usual. Whether poking fun at christians or atheists, South Park almost always seems to come out on the right side of the issue.
I would urge christians who have not seen it to take a look. You might be surprised. South Park is adept at finding more than one side of any issue. They are not rabidly liberal, they are rabidly on the side of good (admittedly while allowing Cartman full reign on the side of evil). How many other shows have presented god, Jesus, and Satan as real entities with thoughts and feelings and personalities?
You will have to overlook the language.

Christians do not have camps to make bi or gay kids straight.
Shows like this add to the "confusion" Butters was talking about. I think the whole episode was disgusting and misleading. To the majority, homosexuality is deplorable and immoral, despite what the gay agenda and the media (like this show) would have us believe. Why do you think it was controversial for Eric to show his picture, and the reactions of the class when he did? Most people instinctively know this.

I loved the kid who hanged himself and the ones who kept shooting themselves. SO funny!
Bi-curious... isn't that bisexualness instead of homosexualness?

I loved it. I was LMAO.
I am bisexual myself, I've had people try telling me I was "confused" all my life and I used to be a fundie Christian. So, that show brought back memories.
