I've heard that people have thought that the world was on the brink of an atheist explosion for generations. Is there evidence for this? Or is the world (in general) disbelieving in God more today than before?

I doubt this. I know that atheists do not reproduce as fast as theists do. And since the belief/disbelief in god(s) is often passed on by parents, atheism is at a disadvantage.

However, to balance things a bit, the more a person is educated, the more likely he/she will be an atheist. So, with improving educational standards in the world, atheism continues.

It appears that less and less are putting their faith in God. They think that they are smart for doing that because of a few small pieces of evidence that lead them to believe they evolved from apes. But if you really think about it, that theory takes more faith to believe in than to believe that we were designed.

i think so. No disrespect to all Atheist, but the bible foretells of this. The mark of the beast is false religion----NO RELIGION. True Christians will be persecuted for HIS namesake, and it will be the non believers doing it.
