oh my gosh so we were on this river and there is another boat not to far away. on the boat was this guy and a women and the lady looked like she had been fish all her life and the guy wasnt horable but you could tell he had just started recently. this guy was trying to impress the girl all day but coming up short i mean it was more entertaining to watch the guy try to impress her than it was to fish. then he finally gets one hooked and he just wont shut up about it. then as he is bending down to net the fish that is on the line another fish jumps out of the water and smacks him in the face it was so loud it sounded like the girl had just smacked him. and if that wasnt enough after the fish smacked him he lost his balance and fell in to the river but it wasnt just any fall he completely racked himself on the side of the boat on the down. the entire time the girl did nothing to help him not even help him into the boat she was laughing so hard she could barely breath. Then when he gets back into the boat we go over to see if he needed help and i couldnt stop laughing it looked like when you get out of a pool and someone gives you a five star on your back yeah like that only it was a fish on his face oh man it was the freaken amazing.

When that man hooked a 748lb Tiger Shark off the Fort Pickens Pier in Pensacola Bay.We had been out there for about 6 hours when he finally landed that thing. Some lady that had been swimming ran out of the water lost her top she was screaming.
Shark made the papers, lady went back to Mississippi. It was a good day.

While fishing up in Canada for northern An otter kept swimming around us along the shore (he was following the lure). I caught a nice northern and started bragging to my friends and to take a picture! Thinking I was all that and more and making digs whenever I could at everone else the rest of the day, we were back at shore about 3 hours later and there was the otter. Slapped up on a rock near our campsite he's chomping down on a northern TWICE the size of mine!!! Yeah, I know, Now who's the man!! Litttle ****! And yes, i got the digs the rest of the trip about the otter that out fished me. No fishing tale, got pic's to prove it! (unfortunatly!)LOL

A dad and his young son (about 4) were fishing on a half day boat out of Malibu years ago. The dad hooked a nice fish and he handed the rod to his son to reel in. The kid took the rod and threw it over the rail (intentionally). In 100 feet of water in the middle of the ocean.

haha wel me and my dad were fishing on the lake and across the water on the other side for like 2 hours, there was this fat old couple fighing and yelling sooo loud. After the guy slamming down his pole abou 3 or 4 times he must have done somthing pretty bad because she pushed him directly into the mossiest part of the water. You just had to be there.

I was fishing for Rock Bass I had a nice stringer going and I went to put another fish on the stringer when I noticed a Banded Water Snake trying to get a fish off my stringer so I gave him the fish I had in my hand.As it swan off with my fish gift a small (20 or so inch) Northern Pike grabbed the snake and swam off with a splash. Both Myself and Mother nature gave that Pike a double header.A surf 'n' turf so to speak.I'm not so sure it was Funny but it sure was Cool.

I was on a pontoon fishing and i saw this kid that i cant stand rowing an inflatable boat into the weeds. He grabbed his fishing pole casted and stood up in the back of it. The boat started to flip and he went under. My and my best friend were laughing so hard we were crying. He had to swim and push the boad through the weeds to get back to shore.

My fiance' and I were ice-fishing and I caught a nice one pound rainbow trout. I was reeling him in had got him to the hole and just as I got his head above the water I heard the line snap. I thought for sure I'd not only lost a nice fish, but my hook too! Only the fish came back up to the surface so reached down in the hole for him, missed, but he came back up,I missed again, but he came back up and that time I grabbed him. I was so amazed that I managed to get him after my line snapped, only to be told that ,of course he kept coming back up,he was too big too turn around in the hole and swim away. My sleeve was soaked, the line had to be retied,BUT I did get the fish!

i have so many - one,i was carp fishing with my fiancee and a friend of his(that had never been fishing but a couple times) at a night tournament at a local lake. it started pouring rain, but it was hot so it was all good, well - he lit a cigarette and just as he did - his rod took off like a bat outta hell,he whipped around to jerk it,slipped in the mud and rain, slid off the bank on his rear and was trying to reel the whole time - slidin, tryin to get up - with a wet cigg hanging out of his mouth.maybe you had to be there, but i laughed so hard i about peed myself.he got the fish too - a 14.5. but was covered in mud the rest of the night.priceless.
