Definitely good. I am a guy and know lots of girls that golf. I think it is really cool to see girls golfing, especially when they are good. A side benefit of playing golf is that you get a natural tan.:) And don't feel weird playing on a team even if you are the only girl if you really enjoy golfing.

Definitely not weird. I work for a country club and there is a university girls team that practices and has qualifying rounds there. Over the last few years I've gotten to know one of the players (she's incidentally the best player on the team) and we play together all the time. I think it's totally cool that girls play golf. We always have a great time together. We even meet up when her team isn't practicing and go out and tee it up. She has been fortunate enough to qualify for the Futures Tour recently. Our pro-shop buyer is also a golf pro and sometimes we get out together. We also have a lot of fun playing together so GO GIRLS IN GOLF!!!!

I'm not a guy, but I have worked at golf courses for a number of years and the single guys often ask me if I know any single girls who play golf. They are looking for you!!

I think its very good that you are on a team with guys. I am often the only female professional who plays in the local pro-ams and the guys have always been great. Don't limit yourself -- see yourself as a golfer just like everyone else.

It really doesn't matter if guys think it's weird or good; it really only matters that you love to play golf. If a guy doesn't appreciate your love of golf without bias, then he's not good enough for you.

Do what you love and love what you do.

happy golfing....

GOOD x10 if i was ever to ask a girl out playing golf would be a huge boost. If you think about golf is a game where you camn learn the most about a person. also i need a new golfing buddy.

It's a good thing! Any guy that doesn't like anything positive that you did isn't worth worrying about anyway.

If you like golf and find it enjoyable and relaxing, then involve yourself in it. If some guy thinks that you're weird, so what? He's only looking on the outside anyway, and not worth the bother.

I'm a girl but am very interested in the responses to your question. Why is it that, on a golf course, it seems to matter if you have dangly bits or not?????

Go girl! Enjoy!

I think it would be weird if they didn't, I believe I read once that golf was actually invented by a woman.

I don't see one's gender as doing anything but determining where one goes to buy clothes. If you Like golf......go for it! In the end you are the one that determines what is wierd for you.

I don't see anything weird about it. Most of my friends' wives play. My wife is considering taking it up.
