The Holy Spirit, Prayer, Scripture, and the fellowship of fellow believers. Also, make sure that it is an area that God has called you to serve. Often times in our zealousness we volunteer for a hundred things without asking God what His will is for us. If you leave Him out of it don't expect it to be easy. But if you are walking in obedience and His will than you will find great joy and peace in whatever way that you are serving Him. Hang in there and if you are feeling over whelmed do what Jesus did and spend some time alone on the mountain.

This is corny but it works for me. You need to see the signs and wonders. The world would have you believe that the wonder of GOD is trivial. For example you are standing on the beach in awe looking at the sunset. You are in a wonderful state of worship and Mr. Humanism walks up and says. " It is just a bunch of water vapor and break downs of basic light reflecting off the water." You are stunned into breaking worship. Did the sunset change? No.
Remember the word (Significant). Many things are a ( Sign if I can [see i] t). Don't let the flesh zombies drag you down and beat you into the same dead rotten corpse they are. You are a living child of GOD. We have been raised from our death to spend eternity with the authors of life itself.
That's how I keep my faith alive.

When you work for an ungrateful boss who never shows gratitude to your efforts, you don't feel inspired to keep a good work ethics.
But if you have a personal relationship and understand the suffering the big guy has, it is easy to work towards the common goals you and the boss have.
God really appreciates those who are helping his lost children.
God has problems to overcome on Earth, and His role is to guide us to do it. (The Hand of God is at the end of your arm.) Part of the big problem is when people ignor the guidance - go against their conscience.
Just like a parent witnessing the tourture of his child pains him so much, God suffers as He sees the way man mistreats man. He knows the full potetial for our lives and yearns for us to come closer to His heart.

Hi Mandy,
This site is wonderful. You can meet and identify with others who share like concerns or questions. I read, and study my Bible daily. I also work on scriptural topics as I find one that sounds interesting and occaisionally I write and give a sermon at church. I find it helpful to encourage others whether they be Christians or not in Biblical matters. I also spend a lot of time inviting a number of people to attend church with us weekly. I call, write, and personally invite as many people as I can each and every week. GOD wants us to plant the seeds. HE will water them as HE sees fit and the plants will grow. Have a great evening.

EDIT... We go to a nursing home and sing with the residents each and every month. We also read scripture, pray, and visit with them.

Keep praying and studying God's word.
Romans 10:17 states faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

You have to take as well as giving. You can not give anything you dont have in the first place. Feed yourself. Read a christian book, Listen to music whatever feeds your soul and helps you communicate with God!

Easy, read some of God's word everyday, go to God in constant prayer, obey His word as best as possible, witness of Him every chance I get, trust him daily for every detail of my life, and constantly allow his Holy Spirit to guide and teach me.
