in all honesty, it would probably take longer than a week but its a very good start, doing lots of cardio workouts (like the jogging) is the best way to lose weight (in my opinion) and the next important part is avoiding the fat-filled foods. if i recall correctly, something along the lines of 3 grams of fat per 200 calories is the way to go as far as low-fat foods

Hey dear. I'd say no.
You wont lose actual fat..just water...which doesn't really count or do anything to your body except make it look tired and dehydrated. That diet is not healthy and will probably make you binge without prejudice. You need to eat a variety of food, especially if you plan on exersizing so extensively. I hope this doesnt sound too harsh, but you might as well not even bother because you most likely gain it all back by the end of the month (and then some). Take it from me..Ive been on this same mealplan when i was younger. I used luna bars.
What I would suggest to you is choose a healthier meal plan and take the measly 5 lbs off in a few weeks....3-4. They have a better chance of staying off and you won't have to worry about them again. Plus your body will look better than the starving, dehydrated one you are going to be on that diet of yours. Tack care hun, best of luck and dont push yourself too hard. :)

It'd take you a long time since your on the verge of anorexia, and your body would be entering survival mode at lightning speed. Survival mode is when your body hangs onto the fat and begins to use the protein in muscle for energy. Survival mode was useful thousands of years ago when food was not available, and the body needed a way to store energy. In today's society of overeating and binge feeding, it is a different story. Basically, you'd be holding onto your fat and burning your precious muscle. Please do your research before attempting to lose bodyfat as what you just described could really be dangerous in the long run.
Then again, you did say "weight" and not bodyfat. You can lose 5lbs of weight easilly by ridding your body of water through a sauna for about half an hour a day, drinking minimal water to undercompensate, and drastically lowering your sodium intake (which holds water in your body).
So no, your plan will not work and I'd suggest doing research before you try anything this drastic!
Good luck!

All I know, is that if you stick to the South Beach Diet, you can lose 8-13 pounds in 2 weeks, so maybe try that and see if you can lose 5 in one week. You really need more than meal bars for each meal. 5 pounds is not alot....

Five pounds is too much in a week. Maybe two or two and a half weeks. That is also too few calories to live on. You need to consult your doctor about weight loss, but if you only want to lose five pounds, then you should just exercise. Do cardio. Good luck.

The way that you are tring to lose weight, you probably will lose 3 min to 5 pounds a week, but don't you think one meal bar is little?
