One of the greatest things about kids, they don't look at price. Some of the best times I've had with my children have been cheap to free! Kids enjoy splashing in the creek, camping out and making smores over a campfire, chasing sand-crabs on the beach, and all the other things we've lost appreciation for. If nature-oriented isn't for you, Gatlinburg, TN has always been a favorite for my younguns. Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Fl also has the ambiance of Disney at less than half the price.

Kings Island in Cincinnati is great for kids and adults. Way better than Kentucky Kingdom (built on a parking lot!) Kings Island is a giant thrill park with a separate waterpark. We love the whole place!

I know nothing about Kentucky Kingdom. Take them camping, zoo, museum, sea world, fishing, hiking, biking. Children usually love to be some place to be able to explore, dig in the dirt, watch a little creepy critter crawl. Does not take a lot of money to do these things, and I know the children will love it.

There's Staunton, Virginia. It's a very small town in Virginia that is a very historic town. There are many little bed and breakfasts you can stay at in town and there is even an EconoLodge in town that you can go to. There are fun shops that you can go to and there are even really good restaurants here. You can come and bring your children to see the Presidential Museum for Woodrow Wilson, there are some historic buildings here in town. You can even walk around the oldest college for women related to the Presbyterian Church, Mary Baldwin College.

Why no longer take some mini vacation trips, say in the destiny to a zoo (one which you've not in any respect been too) then yet another day to an leisure park....possibly in the destiny to the sea or aquarium. have you ever tried tenting? have exciting!!! : )

I have just the thing for you, i am not sure it is resonable priced but it is so worth it, a disney cruise, it is so much fun and relaxing, the hardest thing you have to do is pick the activities for the day. IT IS A BLAST!!!

We are thinking about Chattanooga TN for us this year. If you check the Holiday Inn (the Chattanoogna Choo-Choo one) they have some great inexpensive packages that includes tickets to the aquarium & muesuem. It looks great - but we haven't been there yet!

Indianapolis is awesome. The Children's Museum is fantastic and so is the zoo. We didn't even get to all the other fun things they had there.
