No I cannot imagine my life without God in it. Life indeed would be pointless and life would indeed be empty with loneliness all around. I have a true friend in him. He hears me speak, he helps me when i am in need, he lifts me up when I fall, he makes easy the burdens I may carry for he knows my strength and weaknesses and guides me through those most difficult times. He is my Friend, my Savior, my Maker, my Lord...and I Love Him.

That's really sad that you couldn't live your life without those fantasies. Life without God is really pretty great.

This morning I flew an experimental airplane out over the center of the state, then went home and played with my beautiful cat, took a little nap, wrote an article about the upcoming French Presidential election, did some work on a high power rocket I'm building, then tested out a new radio transciever my brother sent me, had some dinner, and then did some work with a neighborhood volunteer organization. Now I'm having some wine before bed.

Man, it'd be lonely and pointless to give all of this up for fairy tales.

I love Apeman's answer too. Have fun with those kids!

God, sometimes I wounder what god people are speaking of, the Jewish god or the son of the Jewish god. I don't understand how that can be possible. If Jesus is god and (Yeham not spelled correctly) is god than who is god and if that same god is seperated into all the god. Than no I can not imagine life without GOD

There would be no life without God. No human being could have made the world and the people in it, nor could any person make the earth with all its rivers, mountains, deserts, & prairies.

Therefore, there is a super power that is responsible for the beginning. We call that power God.

lets think...if you or me did not believe in GOD...no doubt everyone follows different religion....but would we have even read any scriptures for the religion that we are following...no then would we even know how to treat a person...or how to treat ourself in certain situations...no we won't...the answer is right there...there would be a society just like today...but where already World War III might have happened...World War IV might have been in progress...and no peace would have existed ...no morals would have existed...nothing ethical would we think of...everything would be about material gains...and that is the world that might be if we would'nt have ever known the word GOD...peace out...

Everyday...

?lonely and pointless?

Perhaps you should ask yourself how can you really live for the betterment of yourself and your fellow man if you continue to live for something that cannot be proved (or disproved, I know), we can expend so much energy into trying to convince ourselves and others into putting our belief and actions into a hollow cause...history has shown us that. We can only improve our world through promoting tolerance and rational thinking... is that not a worthy cause, full of friends and family, hardly lonely...

Taking responsibility for your own actions is much more compelling and humbling than relying on someone else to carry the burden for you.

Without God our lives are hopeless!!! God created everything, and forgives us for our sins. If God wasnt here life would feel lonely, because God is always there to hear you speak to Him when nobody else want to. Without God we wouldnt be here. God makes us complete. Without God we would be nothing!

My life or someone else's? My life without god would be just a bit of a contradiction, but then again it wouldn't be the first time I've contradicted myself. I can easily imagine someone else's life without me, I'm not THAT great.

Praise me, amen.

I'm not religious but I'd like to answer politely anyways.

Life without God offers more freedom, and also more responsibility. You can better understand the world around you.

Evil is not a result of the devil, but rather a result of conflict of interests, irresponsibility, greed, emotion, lack of understanding, ignorance, etc. Events are random, and often collide.

Good isn't the result of God, its the result of these events in your favor. Often times one person's good can be another's bad.

If there IS a God, and God is omnipitant, then he already knows everything that is to happen. This gives you no CHOICE. If you are faced with a decision, God has already forseen the result and any choice you have is an illusion.

The concept of God often forces you to ignore what's in front of you. How did we get here? The evidence points to evolution...religion blinds people of that. Is it OK to be gay? Nature says yes, as hundreds of species have homosexuality in them...but religion says its wrong. What happens when we die? Religion provides an answer to something we have no way of knowing...without investigation, without evidence, without logic.

So, life without God gives you the opportunity to see things as they are...random. This means you must accept responsibility for living in a random world, something many people cannot accept. They cannot bring themselves to believe that the world can spin without a grand plan. They refuse to believe they're alone. They refuse to believe there isn't a divine sense of justice. They demand to be loved by something...even if it isn't human.

For some of us, real life combined with our own thoughts of it is far better.
