LOL why do most people here keep saying "love lasts forever"? That's not always the case.

But, I work for my money.....therefore I'd rather marry for love. And cross my fingers that it will last forever. BUt there's certainly no guarantee.

Love brings happiness, money doesn't, so I think love is essential to a marriage and money is just a nice bonus. But I wouldn't marry for JUST love. There would also have to be compatibility, common ground, respect, willingness to work through any problems. All of those things are as important to a marriage as love is. Love is an essential component, but not enough on its own.

Love. I would never marry anyone for money because money doesn't last forever. If you don't marry for love, you will be miserable with your spouse no matter how rich they are.

love of course. But I wouldnt want to be dirt poor. If I can work and make money I would of course choose love. However I would choose money if I was trying to escape a dirt poor, abused life and it was the only way out.

I would marry for love because 'love conquers all.' However, the love of money is the root of all evil.

Money. I prefer respecting and caring for someone over being in love with them. The former gives me control and the latter is too painful when the evitable happens.
