I agree.
I also think people will assume he cannot represent those who are religious. I also think this is redeculous...non-religious people have been represented by those who are religous for quite some time (sometimes w/ good results, sometimes bad).

I understand he has been a congressman for ages. So I suppose it doesn'tchange anything. If he has been a good congressman all this time, he want stop being one because he suddenly found the courage to tell people what he believes, or doesn't believe.

There has to be as lot more than one. I firmly believe most politicians are only pandering to the masses... as minimally as needed to not alienate that constituency and at core are atheists.

You know the eventual downfall of any society is when people get to a point that anyone can do anything they want in the name of being free. Look at the last 3000 years and it has been proven again and again. When society dips to decadence and no morals, where anyone can be a homo or atheist without morals do the signs of decay slowly set in. Not now but a 100 years from now things will be different and that is for sure
Look at Russia and China. Russia fell apart because they tried to outspend us. Then China is falling apart because the people are getting westernized , slowly but surely. Then the USA is slowly falling cuz we let all the cheap Chinese stuff in and so on and so on.
Next we will have a sex predator for Senator and the Brother of Sam as a state representative. Hurrah for decandence
