a 600 watt amp would blow the factory speakers.try getting an aftermarket headunit.that will make the stereo louder and a little better.if you wanted to put an amp on factory speakers then you would want an amp that is 50 watts rms x 4

I think that If you were to go with aftermarket speakers then an amp would be good. I can't think of any speakers that would take more than 100 watts apiece. These are usually in the rear deck. Using a 600 watt amp on factory speakers is possible but really you wouldn't be cracking the surface of your amps ability. Go with the speakers first and decide whether you want louder or better.
