my female poodle lifts her leg!!! why??!?? i'm positive she's a girl since she had puppies. anyone else experience this?? its actually quite funny

I wouldn't worry about it my male dog normally doesn't lift his leg to pee he pees like a girl.

She is a dominant female and they tend to lift their legs
like a male. Some will even squat and lift one leg while peeing, but you will see them peeing on top of places other dogs have gone etc.

In the packs both the dominant male and female lift their legs to pee

Some females just do that. It's kind of a dominance thing. I've seen some pugs do handstands. Dogs do just odd things sometimes.

yes some females do mark just like males do if they are the dominate dog in the area

hmmm it bet it is funny. But I had a dog do the same thing. I just told everyone that she really wanted to be a he. I left her only to her own qwerky behaviors.

My dog does it to. She always has. I think it's because
she does not want to get any pee on her paws.

my chi does this too i think she does it so she doesnt get pee on herself it looks really funny

I think its because of their tiny size, and fear of touching the ground.
