You need to give those treatments a chance to work. Your hormones are in overdrive. If all else fails, see a dermatologist.

Ok--- I used to use Tetracycline.. no longer need it.. Used proactive for a year with less than happy results.. my dermatologist doesnt recommend it... THIS WORKS.. has made me and many many other people very happy... GO to the pharm...buy OTC "PURPOSE" bar of soap.. blue box made by Johnson & Johnson... not the luqid/gel the bar... wash your face 2-3'xs a day with this.. also get a low strength.. benzoperoxide cream.. apply this.. by dabbing.. to the individual blemishes.. dont rub.. works with an oxidation/reduction reaction.... dont put anywhere else on your face will cause excess drying and make your skin look worse.... if needed for moisture.. ASK for "NUTRADERM- lotion... THE ORGINAL.. " not the new stuff.. this works well and doesnt leave a residue on your skin.....THIS WORKS AND FAST>.. I am so happy... no longer need long term antibiotics.. no longer even NEED make up... has helped and worked for many others... other important tips..: DONT listen to crap online about acids such as lemon juice... DONT use Proactive if you have sensative skin.. this is too harsh.. may clean up pimples but could also .. bleach skin.. and cause.. other irriations...DONT EVER use that apricot crap... DONT SCRUB. DONT PICK. POP. POKE>... acne is commonly caused by bacteria.. or homonal issues... and YOUR hands are the dirtiest part of your body.. picking.. will cause you to spread this bacteria... good luck.. AGAIN>> THIS WORKS>> FAST>> SO HAPPY>>>>

If you're already using Proactiv and a prescription cream, then don't use anything else, it will just make things worse. Also, make sure that your doctor knows you're using Proactiv.

the only thing that you could do would be to try some internal cleansing. Good herbs to clean the blood are goldenseal, echinacea, red raspberry tea, blessed thistle. Acne can be caused by poor diet and hormonal problems (men and women). Avoid dairy, and simple sugars (soda, candy, sweets etc) eat things that are natural and high in vitamin C. If the "cream" you got from your physician doesn't seem to work, it's possible that you may need an oral medication for your acne. A very reliable (and cheap) one is called Minocycline. Ask your Dermatologist about it if your not seeing the results you'd hoped for from the cream.

Use the proactive everyday...constantly...and for your doctor's cream, don't mix it together...use it at night time and before you go out during the day time...
