Whats an example of solidarity (one of the catholic social teachings)? either positive or negative

Solidarity is when you feel a connection to or do something to place yourself in a similar situation with somebody who is suffering. For example fasting in solidarity with those who hunger.

How about all the Africans and South Americans who are dying of AIDS because they and their fellow Catholics were not permitted to use condoms.
