Lenin stated that imperialism allows the capitalists from developed (rich) countries to extract a superprofit from the working class of undeveloped (poor) countries. In this way capitalists could circumvent the tendency of profit rates to fall by using more labor-intensive production in colonial, or zones controlled by imperialism. These were "super-profits" in that these profit rates exceeded the average rates possible in the imperialist centers. The majority of this superprofit is kept by the capitalists themselves, but some of it is shared with the working class of the developed countries (in the form of higher standards of living, cheaper consumer goods, etc.), in order to placate that working class and avoid revolution at home.

There are the rich and there are the poor.
There are the strong and there are the weak.
There are the good and there are the bad.
Do you like where you live? You have internet access so life can't be that bad. I also read your profile and some of the past questions you posted; and I gathered that you’re a 2 dimensional person, with a 1 track mind, which is not going to lead you to anything successful in your life. You’re a bit of a raciest and you like to rile people up to amuse yourself, but your really doing it because you failed in life and you know your going to keep failing and that’s why your insecure.
So here we are, reading this topic you posted on yahoo questions and the only thing I see is some guy named “enlightenment” projecting himself like a person who knew what he was talking about by quoting ideas that originated from his community college professor who gave him a "C" in the class.
Check this out, kid! Don't talk in absolutes, especially about soldiers who you don't know from Tom, Dick and Harry. First, grow some hair on your chest and post some original idea's that you actually developed instead of idea's you stole and distorted and publicly displayed here for everyone to read.
“enlightenment” Now, that’s a good joke!

If we were being "imperialistic", wouldn't that require us to be making/taking money from Iraq? Even if you consider all of the oil, which we do not just take without paying for it, it's still by no means benefitting our country economically. By the way, good way to show appreciation for people that volunteer to risk their lives for you, regardless of their reasons, Al Gore. All servicemen and servicewomen are not ignorant. I think we should use people like you for armor on our vehicles over there. You are the ignorant one.

Wow, you learned something in school and now you ASSUME that no one else knows it. Many of the troops are students of history, Many of the older troops spent thier lives facing off against the Soviet Union and know it well.
Communism and Imperialism are outdated, now it's Religious Fanatacism and Corporate Facism rum amok.

I do not see where "Lenin" did any good for his country. (its always easier to be an armchair quarterback, eh Lenin?)

Now how the hell do you know what the troops in Iraq understand? You sitting on some crystal balls or something?
You have no idea what they know or don't know. They do their duty regardless of what their personal opinion is! You are a complete idiot who has the luxury of sitting at your mom's computer and judging others without the threat of having your *** shot off for that opinion. You are, what I like to refer to as, an enlightened idiot!@
