Well, I definately think you should not wear the engagement ring you bought as that. If you still wish to wear it, I would put it on a different finger. The promise ring, personally I would exchange that for the engagement ring and agin, either switch it to another finger, or wear it as a pendant around your neck. Personally, I would only have on the engagement ring, but that is just me. Things mean different things to different people. whatever you feel the symbolicness is behind it, is what you should act upon, also, get your grooms opinion :)
CONGRATS!!!

You only wear the engagement ring he bought you. You can wear your own other rings on the other hand, same with the promise ring.

I am married and have two rings. The one that I wear on my ring finger is my wifes fathers. My wedding band I wear on my pointer finger and swap it over to my left hand once in a while. My point is wear you rings however you want to, the important thing is that you are getting married. Focus on the wedding :) Congradulations and good luck.

Wear teh promise ring on your right hand and the engagement ring on your left hand. I don't understand...you said he proposed with a ring? Where is that ring? Why did you buy your own ring?? You should only where the ring he proposed with on your left ring finger.

you are too young to get married, finish high school, get a college education, then it won't be so confusing to figure out what to do with three rings when you have 8 fingers / 2 thumbs to chose from...
