Why has my left butt-cheek been twitching basically all day?

believe it or not its a muscle spasm or pinched nerve. Have someone rub it real hard in a circular manner. I have this, I think it might be sciatica the sciatic nerve runs up the back of the leg and into the buttock. Anyway, my hubby rubs it and it goes away for months.
