I am thinking about volunteering for Big Brothers and Sisters but I don't have a car. Is there still a position for me to be a volunteer in?

Yes. Though they do depend on you for transportation, it is still possible to volunteer in their school program. In that program, you are matched with a child and meet with them at school during the lunch breaks or after school. As long as you can get to the school to meet with your match, you should be able to participate in the program if you meet the other requirements.

Big Brothers Big Sisters has a few different mentoring programs, so I do suggest that you check out their website at http://www.bbbs.org

You might also look for similar mentoring programs through your volunteer center at:

Good luck!
