Ok, this is 8th grade stuff... there is is this gothic girl who sits behind me (shes not FULL gothic like cutting her self up or anything, just a girl who wears black all the time) anyway for the past 2 days shes been saying HI and Bye to me alot.And shes been like shocking me with her fingers in my ribs and throwing paperballs at me telling me to read, saying "I'm gonig to kill you", and sometimes "Hi" ,she thinks i'm funny because i do and sometimes say a buch of funny stuff. She already has a boyfriend, an i'm good friends with him, I asked him if he told her to do that stuff to me (for fun) and he said no. She even said hi to me in front of her boyfriend.... does all this mean somethin' like a sign she likes me?

I would have to say that she is at least interested in getting to know you better whether as just a friend or maybe more. I would say that if she has a boyfriend then she probably isn't fully ready to pursue you. Take it slow and begin to show a little interest in her and maybe tease and poke fun of her the way she does to you. Try that for a while and let things happen on there own. If she has a boyfriend then you have to respect him by staying off of his turf. however, a little friendly play can't hurt and it just may convince her that she really does like you more and she'll leave him for you.

I'm in 1st year university now and i think she is just saying"hi" HOWEVER!! and its a big however, if you think she wants to be more and wants to dump her bf, your the man, you make the first move, umm,,maybe more less physical like jabbing your fingers into ribs but if your into that, take off your shirt and see how she liks dem apples...no...jk...but not really. Give her a peice of paper with ur #, see how she reacts and take it from there...GOOD LUCK! and just so you know, yeah it happens in grade 8 alot, but this kind of stuff, where your not sure if someones like you will go on till if indeed you do decide to get married some day. oh yeah, bf i forget, if you are freinds with her bf, and he likes her, and he finds out that she likes you more than she likes him...use your imagination fellow.

She likes you as a friend. Its best not to obsess too much about a girl, if she has a boyfriend. There are lots of really hot girls out there; open your mind to one of them. This girl is taken and that's the cold hard fact. I mean, its possible that she'll be available in the future, but there is no guarantee of that.
Its best to be open to other girls, that way you won't miss that fine honey when she comes into your life because you're thinking about this gothic girl.

OK here's an adult answer to an 8th grade question. Confront her and ask her what's up. Tell her that her boyfriend is a friend of yours so you would rather not be used as a member in her love triangle. Good friends are of more worth than fickle lovers.

aaayyy, my guess would be probably, i know i was a mean flirt.pokeing, tripping,calling people dumb names.shes probably being mean like that because she has a b/f though and if she gives you her number it would be a give away to him and she doesnt want to do that so shes just doing it a little more unnoticable.and if her b/f is a good friend of yours,you dont want her anyways because if she dumps him for you,shes probably just going to dump you for one of your friends,and not only that but you might get a butt woopin from your friend.i would just keep it at a fiendly im going to kill you note.even though that is a little freaky she said that.

first of all don't call her gothic, that has nothing to do with the answer to the question so why even include that? (i'm kinda sensative about that cause i get called goth or emo a lot and hate it)
she seems to want to be friends with you. some girls are like that with they're friends. ask her if she likes you. she'd probably tell you.

I think so! After all girls sometimes go out w/ guys just to get to their friends. But, some girls that are really into their boyfriends like to be friends w/ their boyfriend's friends.

maybe but more likely she is just kinda flirtatous. Dont get involved with her. Dont pay her attention except when you friend is also around so that he doesnt get suspicious that something is going on behind his back.

in your case i dont think she likes you if shes saying hi to you in front of her boyfriend that usually means shes just friends with you and being friendly
