I was wondering how long it takes for gum to be digested? And is it good for you? Can it hurt you digestive system?

I believe it takes 7 months are 7 years. NO!! its not good for you it can build up in your body and cause many problems and it can hurt your digetstive system

No, it won't hurt you most scientists believe that it actually might help things move faster through your body. It gets digested through your body just like everything else.
No, it doesn't take 7 years to be digested. People always told me of how bad it was to swallow gum but its not. Your body just can't use anything from the gum.

I've swallowed my gum a few times and never came to any harm from it. But it's usually easier to just spit it out. I'm thinking if your boyfriend hasn't noticed anything by now he probably won't.

Chewing gum is plastic with artifical flavors and artificial sweeteners. It doesn't digest.

i heard that gum can stay in your stomach for up to three years before digesting so just spit it any were just don't swallow it cuz thats growse
