a few days ago.. i asked the people in here what kind of music they listen to (i was trying to find out if there was a correlation between religion and music)
it turns out.. out of all the ppl who answered... both atheists and christians like classical music the most..
so as a follow up question..
does anyone here like death metal? state religion please

I'm an atheist. Most heavy metal (death metal included) begins to mash together after about the first three minutes, becoming little more than a cacophony. So, no, I don't like it. And just for the record, I like all kinds of music, from classical to jazz, and even a little metal (the better stuff). Forgive me for missing your first question.

No. I listened to heavy metal and acid rock, along with punk. When I became a Christian, I gave those up. So I like a (very little) classical, some 50's, and traditional and contemporary Christian.

I can't stand it but I just don't like it because it's loud and grates on my nerves

i admit do enjoy some classical, but my true taste is dark lyric metel, lyrics on raw dark side that most people may find disturbing, but i find a lot of this music ,words ,that society state of minds, think of this, but brush it away in conversation, in case they come across weird,& different, im a roman catholic , but i dont class myself as a practising. i dont go church only wedding etc

eh.. i used to like it alot... when i did enjoy it at the most i was an atheist or a Satanist...
now sometimes i listen to it (the old songs i like) but not so much any more....
and i do have faith right now.. just no corresponding religion.

I do. I like gothic and punk a little more. But as long as it is heavy I like it. I am very moody with what I listen to.
