It depends on what type of modeling you're thinking of getting into. I was a child model, and I had HORRIBLE teeth as I grew. Of course, I hated it so I stopped when I got to be around 7/8ish...which is when my adult teeth were coming in. They were a crooked mess. I was told that if I wanted to pursue modeling into my teenage years and through adulthood, I'd have to get them fixed. I told my parents regardless of my choices to model, I still wanted them straightened. Now they're beautiful (after a ton of pain, but totally worth it).

Magazine models--think Seventeen, YM and such..love models with tooth flaws. And by that, I mean gaps and such. Models with bodily flaws are really becoming a huge fad. It becomes a trademark in a way. But it really all depends on the severity of the flaw. A gap can be cute and unique. Teeth that look like broken piano keys are...not.

Any kind of other modeling you're trying to puruse such as high end agencies and runway, you're going to have to fix them before you do anything. They just won't accept it.

Good luck!

I've just gotin into modelling and they told me that I should get my teeth fixed because if you go for a audition and an other model with better teeth then you auditions to they will pick the model with better teeth. but talk to an agent.

I think your in the wrong category for your question. As for modeling and bad teeth, it doesn't work well if at all with a bad smile. Sorry, get them fixed first.
