Myspace is not a really bad place (if you are talking about the web site) but at the same time you have to worry about sexual predators out there looking for kids. I use it to keep in contact with my friends and family that I don't get to see all the time. I don't know what to tell you to make you feel better because no matter where you go or what you do there are going to be risks involved.

NO!! You are not supposed to have a MySpace unless you are at least 14 years old! There are very inappropriate pictures on there that 14 and 15 year olds shouldn't see(this includes myself). Even when you are old enough to have a MySpace, only allow people you know to be your friend.

No. You have to be 14 to have a Myspace. And lying is not a good idea cause you will get caught.(My cousin did.) By the way, watch the Dateline episode that discusses the evils of Myspace.com

My little brother is 11 and he has a Myspace profile. It's private so others can't see it and you need to know his e-mail address and last name to add him as a friend. Also, I have access to his profile so I can check up on it once in a while.
If you provide enough supervision I think it's ok.

I really would not allow my 12 year old to go on my space. If you allow this monitor them closely. Check out my space.

It could probably be fun if their friends are on it. They need to be careful about older people pretending to be their age..predators and stuff. The kids should probably not post pics, and keep their profile private.

its good for them to keep in touch with their friends
but bad cause anyone can see it
but it will be all good, as long as their profile is set to private, and they only accept friend requests from people they know
